Amazing 3 days experience in Corcovado with Sean from Surcos Tours! He took us in the rich jungle and allowed us to have such incredible encounters, a visit we will remember all our life!

Amazing experience with Surcos Tour! We chose the **3 days / 2 nights option at Sirena Station**, and we highly recommend it if you want to maximize wildlife sightings. Our guide Sean was incredible. He is extremely knowledgeable about animals and plants, very proactive in spotting wildlife, and always enthusiastic when we managed to see animals. You can clearly feel that he loves his job and is truly passionate about what he does. Every day he explained the plan and checked with us to make sure it suited what we wanted. He adapted to our interests and even helped us see some animals again when we asked. He also helped us get the best possible photos, always taking the time to find the right angle for unforgettable memories. Sean was the only guide we saw using a **UV flashlight**, which made it much easier to find certain animals. We also really appreciated that he used his phone to show us helpful references, especially to explain the differences between male and female birds. One important thing to keep in mind in Corcovado is the difference between expectations and reality when it comes to wildlife. Animals are wild and sightings can never be guaranteed. The guides truly do their best to find as many animals as possible, but sometimes it can take several days to see certain species. In our case, it took time to spot some animals we really wanted to see. This is absolutely not the guide’s fault—it’s simply the reality of exploring a wild national park. On goooooooood our tour in Corcovado was a massive W, and our guide Sean Goodman is fr fr the GOAT, no cap. Bro's passion for spotting wildlife is unmatched. We were just trying to touch grass, but Sean was out there tracking down invisible sloths and monkeys like they owed him money. He’s truly got that apex predator nature rizz. Plus, the lore he dropped on us? Insane. He taught us so many biodiversity facts that my brain is literally expanding. If you visit Corcovado and don't request Sean, that's a massive L. 10/10, he understood the assignment and left absolutely zero crumbs! Jokes aside Sean was an excellent guide and, in general, a great human being that we were fortunate enough to connect with for 3 days. He accommodated all of our requests and taylored the tour to our ability. The other guide we met (Nito) was also very pleasant to interact with, and Wanda, the sales rep, was extremely prompt in her replies, even on weekends! Would highly recommend booking with this company and staying at their ABNB near the Puerto Jiminez airport, you won't regret it! Just don't forget the sunscreen and Citronella bug spray!!
