Upscale restaurant at the Botanika resort beside the Puerto Jiménez airstrip, serving breakfast from 5:30 am and dinner until 9:30 pm daily. Diners describe food that is both delicious and beautifully presented — one birthday party shared a 38-ounce tomahawk finished with gold leaf, alongside tempura shrimp and a solid wine list. The covered outdoor seating sits right against the jungle, though a few guests noticed little crabs wandering the floor. Staff are consistently praised as bilingual and attentive. Fair warning from several reviewers: prices are genuinely high and portions can feel small for what you pay. Reservations accepted, with parking and wheelchair access.

The food was delicious and beautiful! We came here for breakfast most often but also tried it for dinner as well. The only reason I gave a 4-star review for atmosphere is due to the little crabs climbing on the chairs and all over the floor. Although harmless, they still bothered me a bit. The outdoor seating area was beautiful and would recommend breakfast outdoors!
It was my birthday and we have chosen the best restaurant of Puerto Jimenez. We shared a tomahawk beef. They even put leaves of gold on it. They have a good choice of wines and for an entry I have chosen tempura shrimps. The staff is really well educated. They speak fluent English and Spanish. We ate outside and even if it would have rained, there's a roof to protect from getting wet. I recommend definitely price for Tomahawk 38 oz was a little over a hundred but for two and on a special occasion I think it worth it.
For the price we were disappointed in this restaurant. They are charging high end restaurant prices and catering to hotel guests. For the price we thought it should have been better. The atmosphere was nice.
