This is guide David's operation, and every recent review is really about him: travelers call him a knowledgeable, educated naturalist who knows where the animals are and takes real care with guests, including keeping young kids safe on the trail. Outings range from rainforest hikes around La Tarde — spider monkeys, toucans, hawks, wandering spiders, and what one visitor was told is the oldest tree in the forest — to night walks, fishing trips, and a beach sunset to close the day. Repeat customers say access to guide-only areas is a big part of the value. As one guest put it, you book a tour and come away with a friend.

We had an amazing tour with David! We saw so many amazing animals along the way. He took his time with our 7 and 9 year olds and always kept their safty in mind. After hours of spotting monkys & birds we went to a gorgeous beach to watch the sunset. I highly recommend using David as he beyond exceeded our expectations.
David is an experienced guide in Osa with a high level of knowledge about the tropical forest including where to have the highest likelihood of encountering wildlife of all kinds. I’ve used his tour services twice now and will again if I come back. Hiring David you will be able to visit amazing places which are off-limits without a a guide and encounter many animals you would not have otherwise. Thank you!
